(daar schreef ik ook een soort-van-introductie. niet heel veel duidelijker dan dit geval maar misschien een beetje; hier:

Dit blog zal een samenraapsel zijn van dingen waar ik over nadenk (Anne Carson schreef ooit een essay/gedicht dat ze Essay on what I think about most noemde, een titel die me aanspreekt omwille van de eenvoud; de woorden trekken je weer terug naar de grond als de weg even kwijt is). Het gaat me om verbazing/ verwondering, en ik wil proberen daar een afdruk/ indruk van achter te laten op dit blog.)

 

in het geval u hallo terug wilt zeggen kunt u me mailen naar dit adres, ergens een reactie op een blogpost achterlaten, of me elders opzoeken. ik ben echter niet echt goed in social media, mailen is de beste optie in het geval u een reactie verwacht.

ooit deed ik een poging iets op substack te beginnen, daar schreef ik:

I’ve never had any formal training in anything, so I am unable to list my ‘accomplishments’. I have written essays and book reviews but can’t tell you what my current writing looks like, ‘form’ is something I’m not very comfortable with. I just write. 

So, maybe I should just tell you what it is I usually write about: the things I think about most: I care about nature, silence, solitude, about birds and books and wildflowers and grass. Poetry, clouds, the ocean. The importance of attention and attitude are my current main concerns.
